Our first campsite from Yuma, Antelope Hill.

Antelope Hill.

Riding towards Mohawk.

Yes, the desert has some things you need to watch for.

Here is a rattlesnake on Hwy 8, he is pretty harmless, it is a cold morning.

I had to ride inches away from this guy.

Our camp at Sentinel.

An old stop on the highway.

This old building has many stories to tell.

Our campsite near the Barry Goldwater bombing range.

Sign Sign - every where a sign. Rules are made to be broken. We actually
parked our bikes there for the night.

Sunset over the bombing range.

The desert near Ajo.

A saguaro.

The church at Ajo.

Old building in Ajo.

One of our favorite monuments.

The organ pipe cactus.

Our unique white tent.

On our way to Phoenix.

My favorite plant in the desert, the saguaro.

Phoenix gets an A+ for bicycle facility improvements. I am really impressed with
the number of bike lanes in town. Nice.

Down town was easy to navigate because of this bikeway.
