Cindie reaches the highest altitude of our entire 3 1/2 years of bicycling
around the world. 4718 meter (15,475 feet) A week later we beat this
record by 100 meters but it was very exciting at the time.

Picture of two female Tibetan monks who came out to meet Tim.

Picture of the road leading into a small Tibet town.

Photo of Cindie meeting the locals.

Pic of the village elder explaining our map to the younger generation.

Image of Tibet Villagers, with a typically decorated motorcycle, discussing
their day.

Photo of Cindie and our loaded touring bicycles surrounded by a crowd of curious
Tibetans in their small village. (Can you find Cindie)

There she is with the kids.

This lady was just as interested in us as the kids were, she did not mind
getting her picture taken either, I wonder how old she is?

Tibetan cowboys, I love these John Wayne types, they are actually friendlier
then they look.

Picture of a rural Tibet village houses with beautiful rolling green hills for
grazing Yaks and horses.

The rain stopped the sun came out and so did the herd of sheep.

Picture of two Tibetan girls hanging around our campsite.

Photo of Tibetan Yaks and more Yaks.

Photo of Cindie herding Yaks around our campsite. One managed to get
through on the right, I guess Cindie is a little rusty herding Yaks.

Cindie looking out of our tent in the morning, "Oh man there is snow on the
ground".

Brrr, at least some of the snow has melted.

Photo of the final summit before Litang, notice all the prayer flags.
