Indian Fire Walking Ceremony at the Hindu Temple
(July 28, 2006)

Cindie walking to the temple before the festivities begin.
The priest is about to go into a trance, the women in yellow are already in a trance.

These Indian boys have hooks in their flesh with someone else pulling on the hooks, that has to hurt.

This man slowly walks across the hot coals, he is a firewalker.
These women walked around the hot coals, they didn't fire walk.

This man also helped with the ceremonies, he also walked over the hot coals, the priest stood on that knife.

The Chinese opera, put on every year during ghost month.


Lots of good food and good drink, that's what the Chinese in Malaysia like.

Our 8th Wedding Anniversary in the Cultural Indian Tradition
(July, 2006)

The large thing on the left covered in ribbon is a termite nest, and Naga the King Cobra snake god lives in it, the women are giving an offering to the snake god.
