We saw quite a few of these on this highway used by the mine.

What is wrong with this picture. There is only one lane and room for one truck,
a dangerous part of the highway.

Gilbert river, we saw crocodile prints on shore but never a crocodile. |

Georgetown to Burketown

These signs are now common on every river.

Cindie riding over the causeway at Flinders River, it wasn't deep but the
bottom was slick and no crocs in sight.

I was glad this road train was parked.

The life size replica of a crocodile shot near Normanton, it could swallow
two touring bikes and me easily. Yikes
Burketown to Wollogorang Station
(July 18 - 23, 2007)

This sign greeted us 30 km outside of Burketown, we did find fuel and
supplies at Domadgee an Aboriginal community 90 km away so I don't know why
this sign is here. |
