A finely decorated mosque outside of Bhairab Bazar.

Wall poster of pilgrims at Mecca. Everywhere you go in Bangladesh you see
pictures and paintings of Mecca.

Street signs for rickshaws.

Countryside driving in Bangladesh.

Gretchen is down one pannier since she lent me one after my pannier got stolen
in India.

I'm sure this minaret will be fabulous when they finish putting on the white and
blue tiles.

We took some day rides near Srimangal around the tea plantations. It is perfect
territory for cycling.

Tea plantations are shady and tranquil places to cycle around.

The lady tea workers lined up at the end of the day to weigh the day's pickings.

I didn't try lifting one of these baskets, but these ladies did look
pretty tired out.

It takes balance to carry bags around on your head.

Exhausted from a long day of picking.

Sweet cycling lanes.

There's nothing quite as happy as a water buffalo in water.

This big fellow was splashing his horns around and enjoying himself immensely.
It almost made me want to get in that muddy water.

Just about harvest time in the rice fields.

Stopping for photos in the shade.

My touring bike isn't loaded that heavily compared to most vehicles in
Bangladesh.

We asked these nice high school girls for directions into town.

Stuck in traffic with a truck load of bulls.

The happy traveling couple taking a day off in a cycle rickshaw.
