This is as close to a family man as I ever hope to get. A GF from California and
a borrowed baby from the upstairs apartment in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This little
boy was very brave and never cried even when the big scary man held him.

Movie posters of women wearing outfits that you will NEVER see on regular ladies
in Bangladesh.

Bangladeshis usually eat with their hands and they
haven't always got normal sized spoons for us to use.

Art and adventure lovers at opening night of a photo exhibit of mountaineering
expeditions.

The little boxes are the snack packs that got handed out.

I think this the Riverboat called the Rocket. You can take multi-day trips down
the Padma (Ganges) River to the Sunderbans. Had we more time in Bangladesh, this
would have been our next adventure.

Just before Christmas, there was a cold snap in Bangladesh. Unaccustomed to cold
weather, people piled on all the clothes they owned.

A cold gray morning in Dhaka.

A woman we met had this picture on her wall and I had to snap a photo as it's
the only time I saw women on bicycles in Bangladesh.

Daily traffic chaos.

One pretty girl braved the crowd of little boys to get a closer look at us.

The league of extraordinary bearded men.

A new friend who had us over to his apartment for a visit.

Gretchen and Muntasir, our awesome host in Dhaka.

I tuned our friend's Giant bike and we took it down to the parking garage for a
test drive.

Hanging out at the Adventure Store.

I finally got replacement tires and gave the old patched tire to this little
guy.

Textile factories are commonplace in Dhaka and they do make efforts to
lessen child labor.

We asked this roadside bicycle repair guy to put on our
new kickstands.
