The gateway to the Pink City of Jaipur.

The walled fort on the hill over Jaipur.

The glamorous life of the street cow.

We arrived in Jaipur just before the Kite Festival. Every other shop was selling
kites. This one had movie star kites.

Minarets in the Old City.

Fireworks for sale. The note at the bottom reads "Made without Child Labour."

Most of the kites are made from crepe paper and bamboo sticks. Some are made
with plastic and it's a shame to see them hung up in the trees as they are not
biodegradable.

Jaipur Old Town has a long road of bicycle shops. They make rickshaws and cargo
bikes.

Spices for sale. That's a lot of chili!

Gretchen doing some hard bargaining with little kite vendors.

Building one wheel after another on the street 12 hours a day 6 days a week.
India has very bad roads and bike wheels are in big demand

I didn't know that motorcycle wheels were trued on the same type of stand as
bicycle wheels.

Rajasthan is famous for Lassi. They are served in wobbly terra cotta cups.

Gretchen bought a little kite. These boys wanted to help her fly it.

Lassi from the Lassi Wallah. Lassi is a sweet yogurt drink.

A cargo bike loaded with cooking oil containers. These tin containers get reused
as building materials and make interesting decorations.

Lassi mustache.

Keys for sale.

Pots for sale.
