Greymouth to Ross

(February 4 - 5, 2008)

This is what happens to a tire when the brake pad rubs on the tire, I had to buy a new one in Greymouth.

Ross to Franz Joseph Glacier

Our first glimpse of Mount Cook. The river had clear water.	This means the bridge has railroad tracks across it. Our first snow capped mountains in the southern alps of new zealand.

Fox Glacier to Haast

(February 8 - 9, 2008)

The road north of Haast, we are in a rainforest and ever the culverts are lined with moss and the dead trees are lined with vegetation, Oh am I glad it is sunny.
The beach at Bruce Bay, a beauty.
