Dear friends of www.DownTheRoad.org:

We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming response to our last email announcing the completion of our first book and a special prepublication offer.  We have received hundreds of emotional messages of encouragement and support for the new book and our journey in general.

The response to our prepublication offer has been absolutely incredible.  The orders started pouring in immediately and continue today.  We did not anticipate this volume of orders and the initial inventory in our first print run will not last much longer.  We fear that we will run out of books before you, the readers of our email newsletter list, have the opportunity to preorder your copy with the free shipping bonus.  We greatly value your interest in our ongoing travels and want to give you preferred treatment to purchase a book from this limited supply.

This weekend Oct. 15 - 17 is the annual Hilly Hundred bicycling event in Southern Indiana.  This event attracts thousands of participants who enjoy the beautiful fall colors while riding on rural roads.  Meet us in person at the Hilly Hundred vender tent.  Our booth will display dozens of printed pictures from our two years of traveling, demonstrate important equipment we carry, and sell our book directly to the public.  We would like the opportunity to meet you and answer any of your questions.

We are likely to sell out of books at the Hilly Hundred.  If you order now we will reserve your copy of the book and ship it to you next week.  Waiting to order until after the Hilly Hundred will delay shipment for several weeks due to the required time of a second print run. Order now to receive your book soon.  TO ORDER please see

In addition be the first to review our book. We are accepting book reviews from readers of our web site and newsletter.  Several of these reviews will be included on our web site and possibly the back cover of future printed books.  If your review is accepted we can include as much or little of your name and other information such as web site address in the credit.  Your review is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely

Tim and Cindie Travis
