Hello everyone:
I can not believe that I am finally sending out my first newsletter from South America. It feels like my second year of a long education. I call it the University of Life and we are only sophomores. Our education and study of the world has just begun. Thank you all for following along. Knowing that you are out there makes traveling and sharing our experiences on the net much more fun and worthwhile.
I just updated the web site with tons of pictures and Cindie's continuing daily journal. Please let me know what you think.
I would also like to thank everyone for shopping and donating to us. I am beginning to think that with your support we will be able to add riding across Russia to our trip. Below is a link to our donation page and an explanation on how shopping on our web page helps us continue our travels. http://www.downtheroad.org/Donations.htm
We have an address in Peru! Many people, during the last several months, have asked where they can send a postcard, letter, and even care packages. In about two months we will be in Cusco, Peru. We have never had a physical mail stop before and we thought it would be fun to actually have something waiting for us when we arrived. It probably takes at least six week for mail to reach Peru. The address is:
Tim and Cindie Travis
South America Explorers Club (SAEC)
Apartado 500, Cusco, Peru
PS. Cindie's birthday is July 10. She would probably like email from her friends. Both long time and ones that she has met on the road. She does not know that I have included this message about here birthday so your emails will come as a surprise to her.
